From Google Authenticator

Google Authenticator exports as QR codes. Vault2FA reads them directly — dozens of accounts in a minute.

Short version: Export as QR codes, scan them. Two minutes.

Steps

  1. Start the export

In Google Authenticator tap the menu (≡) → Transfer accountsExport accounts. Confirm with your device passcode. Select the accounts and tap Next.

  2. Scan each QR

Google shows one QR per ten accounts. In Vault2FA tap + → Scan QR code and point it at each one. If both are on the same phone, screenshot the QR, then use Choose a screenshot instead in the scanner.

  3. Review

Vault2FA lists what it found and skips anything already on the phone. Tap Import.

  4. Turn off Google's cloud sync

If your codes were syncing to your Google account, that copy remains until you disable it: Google Authenticator → account menu → Use without an account. Then delete the app.

Worth knowing

Afterwards

Make an encrypted backup (Settings → Backup) before you delete the old app, and check the support page if a code is rejected — it is nearly always the phone's clock.

Stuck? support@vault2fa.app. Never send a secret or a backup file by email.
